2011 Canberra Day Tournament will be held on the 12th and 13th of March, There will be Novice Foil, Open Foil Sabre and Open Epee for both men and women over the two days. Its a great tournament, lots of fun and very friendly people. Highly recommended. Check attached flyer for details.

Attached is the form to make nominations for the 2011 committee and submission to be floored at the AGM 11th March 2011. The form must be returned before the 28th February 2011

Another strong performance by the Southern Highlands fencers at the Pre-National Epee, with our new addition Romain Courtois taking first place, Luke Mansfield taking out 3rd, Daniel Alchin 7th and Mike Alchin coming 11th. Laura Kent was also entered in the Womens but was forced to withdraw due to illness. Overall a fantastic effort by all fencers on a very long, hot, hard day of fencing.

Well done to our Epeeist yet again!! Luke Mansfield, John Downes and Max Peek taking out the NSW Club Teams Championship. Not only that but a combined Double Eagle and Southern Highlands Team Dan Alchin (SHFA) Tim Montrose and Lawrence Dooley (Double Eagle)  took second, And the old boys Mike Alchin and Phil Mansfield with our new club member Romain gave a good account of themselves.

In the individual Mens Epee Mathieu placed 3rd, Dan 10th and Luke placed 12th. A great result
